3. My particular WordPress model doesn’t have ‘Embed’ in the Settings menu so I don’t have that option. Thank you for the great info

4. The only other thing I would suggest you try is disable all your plugins. Sometimes plugins conflict with the text editor. Hopefully disabling the plugins will bring back the text editor.
   Reactivate your plugins one-by-one until the error happens so that you know which one is the offending plugin
   If you need a hand after that, let me know and I’ll jump in and have a look for you

   It’s most definitely a work in progress… speaking of which – if you know how to make the ‘visual editor’ appear when creating posts in WordPress 3.3.1 – that would top your amazingness off (it vanished when I upgraded)… Apparently clearing caches, closing things, refreshing, using different browsers etc doesn’t work – but then we’re plebs and don’t know what we’re doing!
